A Associação dos Servidores do Instituto Brasília Ambiental - ASIBRAM celebrou o Dia das Crianças, dia 11 de outubro, com uma grande ação social no Parque Ecológico Veredinha em Brazlândia, voltada para as instituições assistenciais Obras Sociais São Sebastião e Casa do Caminho. O evento ocorreu das 9h às 12h e o início foi marcado por um café da manhã especial e, em seguida houve a entrega de 200 kits para os alunos com materiais de higiene pessoal e brinquedos.
A campanha teve início em setembro e mobilizou os servidores do Ibram para a arrecadação de itens como sabonete, escovas de dente, creme dental e fio-dental.
Além de ganharem os presentes, as crianças ainda tiveram aulas sobre educação ambiental, com brincadeiras em grupo envolvendo temas ligados a preservação do cerrado, visitaram as nascentes do parque e tiveram a oportunidade de plantar mudas de árvores nativas para recuperação de áreas degradadas.
Ao final do evento, houve o sorteio de uma bicicleta para os alunos.
Servidores e alunos percorreram trilhas no interior do parque durante a ação e, para o presidente da ASIBRAM, Alisson santos Neves, “o principal ganho, além da assistência prestada as crianças carentes, foi o despertar do sentimento de solidariedade e união dos servidores no intuito de fazer o bem ao próximo”.
A ASIBRAM disponibilizou transporte para os servidores até o parque e contou com o apoio da CAESB na distribuição de água potável, Corpo de Bombeiros para garantir a segurança devido à grande concentração de pessoas.
